I posted this thread already in the Nytro forums, guess i shouldve checked for a turbo one.
Anyways i'm stuck between a rock on what kit to get. I ride prairies mostly but plan to start making trips to the mountains. I've been looking at the MCXPress kits for awhile now mostly the 240 HP as it seems to be the perfect kit for what i want to do. I've also been looking at boondocker kits which have a EBC (Electronic Boost Controller) and seem to be cheaper than the MCXPress kits and has a billet garrett turbo. Anyone have experience with either kits? I've watched videos of the MCXPress kits but have yet to find a boondocker one. My biggest concern is remapping for different altitudes. Anyone who has experience with any of these kits could give me some feedback on them etc it would be greatly appreciated, Thanks!

I don't think re-mapping is required. Its all done through your gems controller. I know several guys with S/C and they love them. I have ridden them a few times and it is instant power no spool up. The Nytro has room under the skin for the s/c, the Viper does not.
I am running the 3 holer in the Viper with the MPI turbo and hitting 252 HP with the stock map on the CAT ECU.

definately go with mcx. i dont recommend a SC and i think most would agree. these turbos do not have much lag at all. while other turbos are good as well i think it is safe to say there are more mcx out there on nytros than anything.

- 07 Attak Stage 1 MPI , 06 Apex Mtn Boondocker Race Gas Turbo.
I have both... and really enjoy both. Given to do all again.. they would both be turbo'd. Not knocking the MPI SC kit at all... its has been absolutely problem free and blast to ride for 3K plus miles to date... and ill be riding it again this year.
