Can someone please explain the difference between these two? I had a co- worker tell me that they are the same thing almost.. Forced air induction!!!! hmmmmm :drink:

Yes, they are both forced induction. A supercharger's compressor is driven by the crankshaft of the engine through a belt and pulleys. A turbocharger's compressor is driven by an impeller that is driven by exhaust gas.

Depending on what you want to do with a sled is what you need to look at before buying. A turbo is made for huge power, a supercharger for someone like me who is happy with 240hp.

With 10psi pulleys, i am making 4lbs of boost before i even start moving... no lag at all.
