I just got a 2008 fx nytro mtx, it has the 153 inch track on it, I think its the maverick not real sure. Anyway I noticed that the lugs are curved kind of like the lugs on the attack 20 track that arctic cat had. Has anyone ever turned this track around. Just wondering if its any different. Also if you have is it a basic job taking the track out. I have taken them out of other sleds with no problem but this is my first 4 stroke yamaha and I am learning as I go. thanks

Do a search, tons of guys have done that. Works a lot better, except you lose braking hookup when coming down the mountian. But it hooks up a lot better than stock when turned around.

For about 50 miles. They will eventually start to fold back the other way, just not quite as bad.
If your going to go through the trouble to drop out the drive shaft, do yourself a favor and replace the track with a Challenger Extreme 2.5". If you don't, you'll regret it!!

Turning the track around was a favorable change for me for my first ride. Now it's limped over the opposite way.....don't waist your time, replace it the first chance you get.
