turning with hand guards

does anyone have a 08 vector with a mid winshield , and do the guards hit the windshield? just put mine on yesterday and never got to go for a rip yet. they look like they might hit the shield. they r the powermadds

2008 Vector, std windshield and handguards, they touch but only at full lock - hasn't been a problems this year!

my apex(same frame set up) hits my powermaddd guards when i crank the handle bar all the way over and i have a low windshield.
