Hey, We are heading up to the U.P. next week for a week long trip. What are the conditions in the Tahquamenon falls, Paradice, Whitefish Point area? If they suck let me know, we will just re-route our trip around that area. Thanks guys! :exc:
I'm sorry I can't tell you about the paradise area but if its anything like Munising you should have some nice trails. We just got back and other than the AmericInn most of the hotels didn't have alot of people staying at them. Went riding on Friday and only saw four or five groups of riders all day. Just not alot of traffic up there. Hopefully somebody who's been in that area can give you some input. Good luck.
P.s. I just got off the phone with my buddy who stayed at his cabin in Grand Marais and he said there just wasn't alot of traffic even there over the holiday. He said what trails he rode around Grand Marais were excellent.
I have not personally been out to Paradise way, BUT the amount of snow gets heavier as you go further north and there is MORE than ample snow in the Newberry area so by extension, Paradise should be loaded!
P.S. They just got +3" of lake effect snow just this morning that we did not receive in Newberry so add that to the total!
