I’m very interested in installing a 2 inch handle bar riser on my 05 RS Venture. Are there any pros or cons to this move? From my research I need no cable replacements. I'm just tired of standing up and not being able to see over the next rise.

Hondo did it try a search or email him . I think I am going to do that two but I want it so that I can sit back farther on the seat to get some weight off the front .this sled is front heavy .

A 2 inch riser will fit, get one that will adjust forward like the Rox risers.

Pro- if you want one for a certain reason and it accomplishes that task, then that's a pro.

Con- taller riser may equal colder hands.

I have a 2" Rox riser and wish I would have gone another 1" The only other con with a riser is that the handle bars will block the lower half of you speedo and tach when you are sitting. It is still worth doing IMO, but just wanted to let you know. G.B.

2" Rox Riser works well on the 2005 RS Venture. No Cable extensions required.

For everyones information: To install a 2" Rox Riser, on the 2009 RS Venture GT, a throttle cable extention is required. I bought mine from Powermadd.

Hope this helps! ;)!
