Upgrade questions! Track and ski

Hi all I have two questions about a track and ski upgrade on a 2008 RTX. My question on the track is will a 121x15x1.5 fit? I know they are stock 14 wide but will the 15 fit? A local Yamaha dealer has some on clearance and when I asked the two guys there they seemed clueless to if it would or not. My second question is about C&A skis. I want to buy a set but do I have to buy the adapter and ski loops or will the ones from the stock set fit? Which ones are the best bang for the buck to get as well. (Must be dual carbides and same width)

The track will have to be cut to fit (trimmed). It is actually very easy with a table saw. Plenty of youtube vids or I can post one for you.

With my background on being a Carpenter's helper I think I would pass on doing it myself I know I would mess it up haha! Thanks anyways tho I think I'm just going to keep an eye out for a 14 track!

if you have used a table saw you already have the skills needed! I'll find my vid and show you. I was intimidated at first but it was super easy! 20 minutes and its done...

Have using a table saw is why I am intimidated I would not be able to cut a straight line to save my life haha. But please post the video it may change my mind.

Actually, using a good quality blade will make the job easier. But it will make your blade all gummy.

Cutting 1/4 inch on each side is very simple using the adjusted guide on your table saw. Having a helper makes it even easier.

As for the C/A skis, I am running the MTX and love them. The loops are included in the price but the mounting kits are not. They are necessary since the insert differ from your Yam skis.
Check C/A websites for carbides application, some of their models use the same holes as stock, but not the MTX.

Just upgraded to some C&A TRX skis waiting on delivery now. Anybody ever run them? What are they like? I hear a lot of good on the C&A but not on particular models.

I run the TRX ski and think they are awesome, eliminated most of the darting issue for me
