I kept a tow strap in there last winter but got to wondering if there was a threat of doing damage Ideas?

I made a set of jumper cables using arctic flex wire and I keep them in the nose. No worries.

That's where I like to keep my giant block of ice!

its probably a good idea to put stuff there so it does'nt fill up with snow and ice.

i keep booster cables and a spare belt in the front of my sled, it dont get that full of ice, unless you do lots of powder riding. i did cover up the electonic kinda thing in front and tucked the wires out of the way better so the belt wouldnt hurt any of the wires
