vector mountain tippy on turns

on your ski's, adjust the spacer to give them a little wider of a stance. My RX isnt tippy at all but i dont fly down the trails. If i just lean into it, i have no problem cornering flat

thanks,i have alreadychanged the spacers and still find it too tippy on the trails can i buy something to widen it futher?

Vector Handling

Take stock skis off replace with Simmons cause then outside runners feels like wide front end and no more darting and rides great!
Trust me you won't beleive it's the same sled!
My Vector buck me off and wreck my shoulder and now with simmons skis it feels like different sled

Tighting up your limiter strap will also improve trail handling. If all you ride is trails I would look at a wider front end. But if you ride in powder, I leave it alone! This is a two edged sword, the better you make it on the fast trails the worse it is in the powder.

thanks for the advice on widening my vector guys. i bought the wrong machine for me i do all trail riding and some of my friends are telling me that i should cut the paddles on my track down to 1 inch and a quarter or they will break off.how do you guys feel about that?

In marginal snow or hard packed groomed trails you will have hifax problems with the 2 inch paddle. I do. I know nothing about cutting paddles down, sound like alot of work!

Yeah, I don't think the paddles will break off. You will just have troubles keeping the hifax cool on ice. Throw some scratchers on....that will help. Or dump the sled and get a new GT.

You could cut down the paddles or Yamaha was offering a 1.25" paddle track for their mountain sleds that spent more time on the trail.
