How much was involved in the swap?

Your going to love it, best upgrade I have done. Only thing involved with swap is mounting the gauge since the bolt patterns are different. If you want the clock to work you need to run a constant 12v wire to the gauge. Lots of how too's floating around, including mine.

It was easy to do, it's all about how nice do you was it to look. I was thinking that the unit is plug and play, could you use a Vector pig tail and swap those too? It's only 8 inches and should plug right in. Maybe the needed jumped wire is there already?

The nytro plug installs fine into the back of the vector gauge.
It is just missing one pin (the +12v one for the clock)
I used a pin from an old honda car I had laying around but since you have the plug from the vector speedo, just de-pin one of the wires, and reuse it into your nytro.
Compare the two plugs, to see where the extra wire goes.
