Would a Belt off of a Viper Fit my Nytro? we are getting snow tomorrow and I dont want to ride with out a spare belt,So I was wondering if the spare belt off my Viper would fit?? If not Ill have to go to my dealer and get one,if he has one in stock!

I believe if it's a 8DN belt it will fit.

How can you find out? is it ingraved in the belt?

Depends if it is a Yamaha belt, it may have a different part number, but the 8DN is the yamaha number. It should be on the outside of the belt in white lettering. May be hard to find if the belt is really dirty or old.

The belt is used,If it dont fit will it be to long,Short wide?

You can pull the belt off your Nytro and compare to the used one you have.

they are the same I have a belt off a viper on mine now.different # but I believe its only the compound that changed & not the size

I will only use it if I blow mine! Dont think that is going to happend though because it only has 42 miles on it and the sled. Althought I did smoke it the 1st night I got it pulling it off the truck. (didnt know the parking brake was on)
The 8DN is a pretty universal belt for the Yamaha sleds. I have one from my old SRX that is basically new that I have laying around just in case.

i believe there is a chart in your owners manual that tells you which belt works on what
