In the trees and out of the wind, we get 4 to 6 feet of super soft powder until mid winter.
Has anyone had luck doing powder turns and sidehilling with a VK Pro?
Will that ripsaw track stay on top if you use power and reverse steering to carve a short turn?
I'm assuming that the best powder setup is a hard setting on the ski shocks for good steering response and keep the limiter strap at the stock position (slack) to be able to lift the weight off the skis under power.
But what about the suspension shock settings? Does it make a difference in powder to set the suspension shocks firmer than the soft stock setting as long as the weight on the machine is only a 180 pound driver and you are not towing?
Also will 11" wide ski skins keep you from ever doing a proper powder turn?
