What kind of noise do you hear from your Vector that you have not heard in a 2-stroke.since im new to 4 stroke i hear some sounds that i have not heard before. It must be that the engine is so quiet.
1. I have a clunking sound when im driving very slow and hit the brakes and the throttle again.the dealer say it it normal.
2.a little clutch rattle at idle.

I think the clunking is play in the drive cogs and track. Some may be in the chain also, but not a lot. I inquired about this last year also when I was new to 4 strokes, and was told it was normal and soon my riding style would change when I was used to the 4 stroke characteristics. I must be doing something different as I no longer notice it.

The clutch is more prone to rattle due to the different pulses caused from the 3 cylinder 4 stroke engine. There is also a little top end sound from the engine as there is now a moving valvetrain to contend with. And you're right...you can hear these things because of the lack of other noise that is typical of a 2 stroke. Relax, get used to your new sled and enjoy it. ;)!

thanks man.that was the answer i wanted to hear./max

1: If you have reverse, then yes, your dealer is right, it's perfectly normal. If not, you may have to tighten your chain.

2: Just the nature of the 3-cyl. 4-stroke. ;)!
