Anyone know the weights of the new 05 sleds?
I am looking at moving from my 02 Viper ER to one of an 05 Vector or RX-1.
Would like the weight comparison data.
They say the new RX is 30 lbs lighter than 04, what did it weigh in 04?

Vector weighs the same as the 04 Viper ER.
I have an 02 Viper ER and a 03 RX-1. Love both sleds and ride the RX-1 more than the Viper. You don't notice the weight difference between the two sleds unless you get stuck, pick-up the rear end, or try to move the front end. Viper corners much better than RX-1. RX-1 has much better suspension than Viper (more forgiving, softer in the bumps, etc.) RX-1 pulls hard all the way, where Viper pulls hard to about 80-90 mph on the dream meter.
If you expect your new sled to corner like the Viper, you will need to do some mods to the RX-1 to even get it close. Probably the same goes for Vector.
