Nothing like mods of the past. I put a set of 07 apex bars on my warrior. Hooked them up like the warrior bars where, and isolated the hooks with some plastic spacers( transfer rod spacers). Rode it about 1/4 mile in 5 degree weather with no gloves, and they actually got hot quicker than stock, and they are so much easier on the hands. Maxdlx

NO NO NO almost ruined the last trip, never again. Belly pan protector, and handguards, maybe a low windshield. Paul

I said that!!! All stock this time...except for the Apex seat..then the ECP's, hand gaurds, Riser, 07 flap, beefed up skid, clutching........now I'm looking at the MCX kit!!

Good luck keeping it stock lol.

This motor is quick enough stock. I did research the ecp, but I don't want more noise. The belly pan protector is a must. I did figure out the new bars are actually narrower than the old stock bars. I went to a 4.25 riser, and had to tighten the throttle cable after install. i'd say they are 1/4 inch narrower than the old ones. Better for me I get more height this way. Amazingly I wanted a set fro familyman, because he could use my 2.5 inch riser, and they all dissappeared off of ebay, kinda like Yamaha told dealers to stop selling the take offs. LOL Maxdlx

Doc I really like the stock 05 seat, it is cumfy, and I like sitting back and low, makes me think I'm one of hose lwrider guys. LOL
