The Vector ROCKS! I rode with a ZR800 and a REV 600 HO Renegade. Of course we raced on the lake too, I waxed the REV, stayed even with the ZR800 until about 40mph, then he pulled about 1 sled length to 60mph, then 3 sled lengths to 80mph, then bye bye, about 8-10 at 105mph where I about topped out and he kept pulling. I am impressed that I stayed with him at all. An RX-1 or F7 would have spanked the ZR800 though, not as fast as I thought it would be. In the REV's defense, he was geared down for the mountains, and has a inch and three quarter track on it. But I beat the REV by 10-12 plus sled lengths so it will be interesting when he gears back to stock and puts the inch and a quarter track back on.
REV Riding impressions.
The REV is SMOOOOOTH in the rough ditches, but I had a confidence problem on this sled. It handles the bumps like they are not there. Partly due to the rider position, and partly due to the 136" length. It feels awkward at first, like your so far up and out front, it really takes some getting used to. You can't "wheelie" over approaches and bumps like on a standard ergo'ed sled. However, this was a 136", a standard REV might be different. The REV really sticks to the trail, but you better have the knee pads, or you going to be sorry. After riding it, I would rather have a non-REV position sled. I like to sit back and wheelie over the junk, and you can't get in a comfortable cruising position on the REV for the long rides. Makes me think the Fusion adjustable bar idea is a good one.
The Ride.
We rode hard, and the suspension in the Vector is AWESOME. It is not quite as smooth as the REV, but I could hit the throttle and wheelie over bumps and the Vector rear skid ate up the bumps. There was a stretch of ditch that ran about 2 miles, I told my friend on the REV we were going to turn it up a notch, and the nodded and gave me the thumbs up. The conditions were hard and the ditches were failrly moguled, with 3 approaches in the 2 mile stretch. The sleds hooked up hard! By the time I got to the next road we were to cross, I looked back and he was at least a quarter mile back. He told me he wanted to go back and try it again, same result. On the way back, he made me drive his REV again, I took off, and he passed me half way down the 2 mile stretch riding my Vector. He could not believe how this thing rocked in the ditches. If I could smile any bigger about how happy I am with the Vector, I could lick my ears!

TY 4 Stroke God
thumbs up
I agree. Rode mine extremely hard for almost 600 miles last week. My buddy with a 600 Pro X was very impressed. Kind of hard to stand up on mine like he does frequently, but the ride is SOOOO much nicer, all you gotta do half the time is scootch forward on the less severe stuff, und pull yourself up with the bars on the major stuff. I loved every mile!
