well went to the new sled show. saw all four brands? what to do. cat is just to ugly. i dont like the nytro at all. the fst switchback is quite nice
allthough not much lighter than the apex attack. the new skidoo 4 stroke is nice as well and if its really 500 pounds it should haul #*$&@. any thought on other brands? opinions welcome.

I was at the Winnipeg show Sunday. The Polaris Assualt would be fun sled in my area if I were stll into 2 smokes.
I like the looks of the 800 Dragon, but I wonder why you are asking about other brands in the Apex section. This kind of stuff belongs in the Lounge.

because ive owned an apex for 3 years and valued the opinion of other apex/attak owners,hence the apex/attak section.

if I was to give up on the attak....I'd be going to a crossfire r 1000....2 stroke and all I think it's a hot machine..

I liked the ski-doo four stroke and had a chance to try one. The one we had stayed side by side with a 08 800 xp in 1000 feet. Pulls pretty good. Had a little vibration, but dealer said will be gone on production. The first time I squeezed it the side pannel flew off in the bush. I never lost anything on my apex before. lol. I didnt find it had anything over my apex except it felt a little bit lighter. The fit and finish is really, really, really, really, really cheap. No where near yamaha. The motor in the apex is second to none.......................... It will take the other 3 a long time to catch up or beat the smooooooooooooooooooth 4 banger apex motor. If only yami would come out with 180 hp. Just my 2 cents.

I rode the 1200 Ski Doo and it even close to any 800. Maybe they have dailed it in better but that is hard to believe.
