Your right its not the skis its how they are set up. You can take the worst darting skis and after a proper setup they wont dart. It does take time but it can be done.

The are more problems with the stock skis besides darting! Its how aggressive you ride that matters..
Duales work great for totally eliminating the darting but when driven hard threw tight corners they plug up and push badly.. (BEEN THERE NONE THAT)
The Pilots are probobly the best ski ive ever owned.. PERIOD..

Iam running a set of USI spx with 7.5 inch shaper bars.Still have darting issuses yet. Have a 1/4 " shim in also. The steering is heavy with this set up. But the sled does rail in the woods. Was out this past weekend up in northern WI. Zero darting on the wet ,soft snow. Also had no darting on the frozen rutted trail in the morning. But when the trail was in the in between stage it darted badly had too slow down. Could not control it over 40. Know the snow is MELTING so I guess I will wait till next year.
Any one have any ideas to help me out.

I have two Apex GT's and one Attack. All three are setup the same. Stock skis, Woodys Duce bars with six inch carbides and the limiter straps pulled down ( shortened ) to the second to last hole. I do not have studs in any of the tracks. All three have zero darting and easy steering. They pushed in the corners till I shortened the limiter straps. Now they are a pleasure to ride

C&A Razors, with 9 inch sharper bars and 1/8 inch shim in the rear. Maxdlx
Guess I'm voting a bit late. Surprised I'm the first to mention this setup as I know it's somewhat common here:
Slydogs, 8 inch Bergstrom triple points, ski savers.
I'd do it all over again...perfect trail skis.

I have same Slydog setup as Craze & I love it. You still need to have proper set up, But ran 900 miles no issues
