The best setting I found is the gems controller siting on the work bench and a pc5 pti installed. Base map from Allen Ulmer has it covered from 8 pounds up to 14 pounds with no fuel adjustments needed and it runs spot on!

I just picked up my kit and I think I may be going with the pcv pti for me because then I can get Allens maps that he has spent time tuning. Also if I plan to up the boost I'll already be one step ahead for better control

Best part about the pti unit is there's no need to adjust, as the sled builds more boost the pti unto automatically corrects and adds more fuel when needed.

That's what I like about it after I did some research up on it it's the safest way to go. I plan on going with the stage 1 kit but add pcv pti so I have spot on fueling all the time and no worries about going lean if over boost may happen

have yet to use in i just got my turbo i had a similar one on my old f7 a pure lodgic controler i like the pcv more because you can change it on your computer and the fact the pti version will change the fueling based on boost and i can but my ignition module on it if i like

Got ya. I don't disagree. BUT I am not much of a tuner and don't plan on starting. I've ajusted my gems twice. Much better numbers now. Sled pulls very hard but starts and idles like my apex used too. It was very rich from the dealer.have yet to use in i just got my turbo i had a similar one on my old f7 a pure lodgic controler i like the pcv more because you can change it on your computer and the fact the pti version will change the fueling based on boost and i can but my ignition module on it if i like
IMO the gems is nice for set and forget. i got 2400 miles on the sled this year and once I got the gems setup it never changed.
One complaint is fuel mileage but from what I read the pcv does not get much better ( you pay to play).

I was thinking that too my plan is to set it an leave it I like that the pcv can be tuned better = greater mpg but if you got yours running great then I may just stay with the gems and save the money
