looking for some insite on gauntlets/muffs for my viper. I unfortunately had to use my buddies Ski-Doo muffs last season... But! They were pretty good.
Lighter but insolated !
Who uses what brands?

Muffs? gauntlets or hand guards?
I have Skins guards on the 14 and for "muffs" gauntlets I have both a set of heavier Doo's and a pair of powermadd but the hand warmers are so hot on these I have never needed the muffs.

Yes, gauntlets. On my 15 the handle bar warmers suck! Anything colder than -15-20 my fingers are numb. I don't want a heavy pair. The ski doo ones I used were perfect size. Thin but insolated. But I clearly don't want to use those because they have skidoo on them! Lol
Well the Powermadd ones are actually a bit more roomy and easier to get my hands in and out of. I cannot believe your hands get cold I rode mine last year at -15 with just mechanics gloves and the skins guards. Have you had the dealer check them? I lost 2 hand warmers and 1 thumb warmer on the 14. Normally I have them on low after the first couple of miles.

Those powermadd gauntlets will be just fine. I have a a basic black pair of gauntlets on my 2015 and with hand warmers on low it's almost too hot. I turn the warmers off now and then while riding.

x2 on the powermadd. Run them on a couple of sleds, lots of room and very warm. I also tried the yamaha ones, they are warm also but not as much room. https://www.shopyamaha.com/product/details/yamaha-rider-gauntlets?b=Search

I used AC's semi rigid hand guards. They're big enough they block a lot of wind and don't obstruct hand movement. They are all black and the logo is barely visible.

Saw guys running these last year. They said they really liked them. I got a pair this year to keep in the bags just incase it gets really cold.

I kept my Yamaha ones from my venture when I sold it and used the on my viper with no issues! The go on and removed in seconds. I run trails in northen Ontario and only used them 3 or 4 time when temps where -20 to -40
degrees Celsius.
