what happened to bergstrom?

Has anybody gotten a hold of bergstrom? I've been trying for most of December but the phone is always busy. He's website says no emails during this time of year and to call him and every time I call its busy. Just wondering if other people are having trouble getting a hold him?

Ya, you aren't going to sniff a bergstrom skeg this time of year. His product does work well though, worth shot even if it may not be the absolute best set up..

I met Scott at the Big East Show in Syracuse back in '99. He was great to deal with and I bought his carbides (with ski savers) for my SRX700. I was pleased with the performance of them.

Wanted to put a set on my '07 Phazer FX, but have not been able to get through by phone. Called for 5 days straight and nothing but busy signal. Not even an option to leave a message. It should not be this difficult to spend money. Seems to me if he is that busy, it would behoove him to hire help (even part time) or invest in a second phone line and take messages. He is losing business ($money) for sure. I'm a patient man but enough is enough.

Needless to say I now own a pair of the Stud Boy Shaper Bars.

The 6" triple points I bought from him 4 years ago now have 8,600+ miles and have TONS of wear left. Even back then it was difficult to get ahold of him but, I still think they're worth waiting for.

If you call him during the off season he usually answers right away. Then you can't get OFF the phone with him! Lol!

And after an hour on the phone with him you'll know more about carbides and darting than you ever wanted to know. ;-)

I've only called him during the off season and he is a hoot to talk to. I think we talked for almost 45 mins one time.

I too have tried to contact Scott maybe 100 times the
last few weeks. I am waiting for a credit to be issued for 2 sets I had to return because I traded my 2010 with curve skis for a 2011. I returned them before Christmas and Master Card is about to take over. Great product though. I thought i would just trade them for a yamaha set but at this point
I will try a different product. I even left a note in the box for him to call me when he found time but he must get a busy signal when he tries to dial out too. If anyone knows of an alternative contact please advise.
