I've decided with my new job to give up sledding. We don't get snow enough to ride local and trips to Canada which i have been making for the last 15 years are not going to happen. i bought a new triumph motor cycle to help relieve the pain. I am planning on taking my sled to the show in York Pa. to try and sell it. I have an apex gt with 128" track, clutch kit, rox riser, and guards. Do you guys have any idea what i should ask for it?

- None, looking now!
Sorry to hear. I do understand tho. A few of my bros have sold their sleds and bought ATVS. I'm one of the last crazy ones that still spend a small fortune every year to travel where the snow is. I don't get to ride locally here but a few times a year. Winters just aren't the same anymore.
Have fun with your new bike........

I don't get to ride much either here in Ohio. It was the same here many years ago, lots of snow. I trailer to Michigan, Western PA, Western NY and Quebec. I can't help it, I'm addicted to power sledding. I look forward to my annual Quebec trip all year long. I guess it's in my blood! My wife gets on me about where I only get to use the snowmobile a few times a year and asks why I do it. I tell her I can't help it. Maybe it's my "need for speed" but I think it is actually the adrenaline rush I get.
I hate summers,
Ralph

Sorry to hear you are throwing in the towel. Try putting the sled on Ebay with a start price at your lowest price. Good luck.

My brother just picked up a 2006 Apex GT (1,600 miles) for $6,000. The dealer had it for sale for $6,499 and he got em down to $6,000. The dealer was at the County fair at the time and they usually make pretty good deals during that two weeks.
As someone stated earlier...I would think you could get somewhere around $6,500+/-. Once the snow starts flying you will probably get more money.

Hey guyss, Thanks for the imput. It is not a matter of passion. I love to ride. My job just won't let me get away for more than a couple of days at a time and if I can't tour at least 1000 plus miles at a time its just not worth the money. Over the past 20 years I have logged over 50,000 miles on about ten different sleds. I'm know I'll be sick in the winter but wisdom says you got to let go.

I just sold my 06 Apex GT (1457 miles) few weeks ago for 6850.00. I really hated to do it but, I am trying to get into a financial situation to were I can just pay cash for my toys. A 216 dollar month payment plus insurance on a toy that was used 5 times in the last 2 years is to much. I got a 99 polaris xc sp 700 for zero dollars from my brother-in-law. It needs about 200 dollars worth of repairs to be trail worthy. I plan to suffer for a year maybe 2 at the most, then I will pay cash for a 2 year old sled (Attack). It's going to be hard not to go find a used 07 attack but, I am going to try an use all my willpower to not go and get a different sled with payments again. I just hope that if we do get snow that the trails are smooth and I survive the 2 smoke smell again. I am really going to miss the riding position, smooth motor, smooth ride, lack of exhaust noise, etc etc.... MAN THIS IS GOING TO BE HARD!
Good luck selling your sled.

Is this a 2006 or 2007? I read your post a couple times and do not see the year.
