I have a stock Warrior and this is my first real season with it. It only has 1800 miles. I was out on the lake last week and was only getting 98 mph on the GPS. I did have some mid range problems and cleaned my jets and that resolved that. I ran it again yesterday and was still only getting upper 90's on the GPS. Both weeks I am peaking around 9,500 RPM. Shouldn't I be seeing 10,500 or so? I need to break 100 mph!

rpm's

yes you should be seeing 10250 to 10500, check clutching parts to see if everything is in good shape, check belt,

replace the primary spring with an orange-silver-orange from your local dealer. this one mod will raise shift out rpm and bring top rpm up to where it should be at 10200-10500. it will feel like a whole new beast.

10,300 rpm 113 mph

The most I've got on mine and it's all stock as well is 10,300 at 113 mph.
That's enough for me!

When you got 98 on the GPS what did the speedo read? If that sled is still all stock with no studs and a "not worn out" yamaha 8DN belt on it you should have no problem turning 10,300-10,600 with it. Eric
