Hello, my friend bought an 08' Vector LTX leftover. He loves the sled coming off a 2003 MXZ 800. I have an 05' Vector that idles at 1200 rpm. His idles at just below 1000 rpm. Isn't that too low? The dealer doesn't think so. It just sounds like it needs to idle higher.

Thanks, I guess TA Motorsports doesn't know what they should be idling at.

My sled last year was an 08 Vector GT LTX it idled at around 1200-1300 smoothly. 1000-1100 is OK as long as it at full temp and its running smooth My bud has an 06 nytro and his idles at 1000-1100 real nice.
Make sure you have the correct belt installed and or the belt is not stuck down in the back clutch as this will give you a false reading (RPM'S) too high.
