I got a lefover 07 GT and I want to mod. it a little. Where should I start??
Exhaust, fuel programmer, air filters, cam swap??? What would be the best bang for the buck??
I would like to turbocharge it but my budget doesn't allow that right now.
Simple mods like exhaust, air filters, fuel programmer how much performance gain would I expect???
Im new to 4-strokes. Just lookin for some direction on what parts to buy.
Thanks.

I'll probably be flamed for this (more like burned at the stake) but I can't stand it. There have been so many posts similar to this one and it drives me crazy, I don't understand...
It's a BRAND NEW SLED - "I'm new to 4-strokes" -- HELLLOOOO...
Why not at least wait till you get some snow and ride it first; find out what it may/may not need? I'm assuming you haven't even had it on the snow yet.
A great example: many guys here think the stock skis suck and they HAVE TO spend the $'s ($250-350) and replace them... while others think they're fine after making minor changes.
My point is what one sledder feels is a great/must mod may be considered wasted money by another. I can't understand how anyone can spend their hard earned money on changes ("Exhaust, fuel programmer, air filters, cam swap" without riding it first (cam swap? on a brand new sled? talk about voiding the warranty on a $8000+ sled).
Maybe I'm out of touch but thanks, I feel better now.

FYI I have rode it already. I like it so far but it doesn't have what my ported SRX had I will tell you that. Plus I can never leave good enough alone.
I was just lookin for some input from other guys out there that have done aftermarket mods. to their machines!

07GT:
My post wasn't intended to insult you and I'm sorry if it did. I am surprised you were able to ride it already. I can see were it would not be as fast as a ported SRX (rocketship).
In general terms I was posting to the guys, (many new to sledding and/or a new sled) that want to make changes before some "self-education" which I clearly don't understand.

Stock?!? whats so fun about that. Reagardless or what i buy in this world I will allways look for Mod's to better it. Stock well.. Its stock AKA GENERIC. Hardcore sleders like to stand out.

If you want to make alot more hp without a turbo. Get a hold of dyno Ray at Fundy power sports. I think he could take 2+ grand from you, for 180ish hp if thats what you are looking for.

If it were me, I would install studs and a clutch kit right off the bat.

Studs, gearing and clutching for performance. Skis and proper chasis setup for handling and ride that suits youre riding style.
