Im looking for some opinions on what would look better.
Im finishing up my warrior for this year and I cant decide if I want to put an excell exhaust on or leave the 2 pipes. I had the end caps powdercoated gloss black to match the apex covers and my plan was to put yellow yamaha stickers on the side. But I like the look of the excell too and it will loose a good amount of weight and make the sled look smaller. I know its my sled and its up to me but just looking for some other opinions since I cant seem to make my mind up. Another plus to the excell would be the RX end caps dont fit perfect with the apex side covers and theres a gap between the top of the covers and the seat which drives me nuts lol.
And no im not doing this to make it loud where I ride noise doesnt really matter and im not trying to get trails closed just thinking about it to change the look of the sled.
Heres how it looks now

I like the dual setup, but lighter is better IMHO.
Also, I can't seem to find that type of snow flap anywhere! Where can I get one for my Phazer?

its the snow flap that comes on newer sled 07+ I think but if thats true your phazer should of already came with it. check portyamaha or any yamaha dealer they should have them....or give ebay a try. They look a lot better than the stock one on my warrior did and its a lot stronger

Can't you just install Excell Headers on and get basically the same benefits (except a little weight)? And it won't be as noisy as the Excell exhaust.
I personally like the looks of the dual exhaust, but have been considering adding an Excell header and Power Commander just because......
I think it looks good!

I'm not going to lie... the sound the excel system makkes me horney! Your sled looks good as it is though.

There is something about the dual exhaust on the sled that just looks so cool. The excel does nothing for me.

I agree.
If that little gap between the exhaust cover and the seat is bothering you, paint it black in there and you won't notice it.
The sled looks great.

While the Excell has an intoxicating sound, it is pretty loud. I too like the look of the factory dual exhaust better than the single Excell. I voted to leave it like it is. Your sled looks pretty sweet. G.B.

I have seen a few Apex's and Attaks with the excell system on them. They do sound cool, but I love the dual exhaust look on these Yamaha sleds.
Obviously I voted to leave it. save the money and get some Yamaha goodies, if you dont have them already. I like the Nose bag and my widshield bag, great for extra gloves, tools, tow straps and shackles, paracord and small tarp (I hope to never use it!), and all sorts of stuff. Best part is they were about $30 each, and very usefull.
