I don't have a turbo (yet) but would like to install an electric fuel pump. When I roll my sled and drain the carbs I can nearly kill my battery cranking the engine to fill the bowls. Plus I understand the OEM ford pump that MPI uses on their supercharger kit actually saves weight. Anyone know what model is used, price, anything? Also, do I need a regulator?
I'm beginning to think I need one too. I use the K&N filters and I honestly think that when I pull a long hill and my sled sputters at the top, I have empty float bowls due to not enough vacuum happening. I'm doing a blower and will wait til then. I didn't realize it came with a pump.
You'd need a fuel pressure regulator as well.
