Which is faster...say 0-60...
A Yamaha Viking Professional
or
An Arctic Cat Bearcat 660 Turbo?
973cc vs 660cc Turbo...are they both about the same weight?
I just bought a 2009 VK Pro, and am blown away by the torque/speed.
I was debating between this machine and a Bearcat 660T...just wondering if the Bearcat could possibly be more powerful/faster...both are rated at 120hp.

I ride with a guy who has the Bearcat 660 non-turbo. I have a 2008 VK like yours. There is no comparison in acceleration and top-end speed. However, he cleans up in the handling and manuverability. The 660T engine is very quick in a standard sled so if I had to guess, I would say that a Bearcat turbo would outperform the VK primarily due to the oversize secondary clutch in the Cat. This clutch eliminates the need to shift from low to high range so there would be an advantage at the start. The Bearcat is about 30 pounds lighter. Top speed and midrange would be about the same. Pulling power would go to the VK. Handling and ride comfort would go to the Bearcat. Both are great utility machines.

I rode with a turbo bear cat last year in Fairbanks and he could just barely pull away from me on long straight sections of river where the snow was good. I was able to pull away on the side sloughs but he is new to riding and is lacking experience.
