which mtn ski?

Not totally satisfied with the Tuner Ski (6"/4") setup on my XTX. Loose snow performance is ok at best and off trail floatation is not great either.

I've heard good things about the Yamaha Mountain Ski.

My question is which is better the pre 2011 model or the post 2011 model?

I have pre 2011 ski with snowtrackers (semi aggressive) work well on trail and float pretty well but, not much experience with mountain skis

Go buy Simmons gen 3 skis if u like the deep snow 10" wide or gen 3 8" wide if u like the trails and a little bit in the deep snow
