Which sidewinder?

Hey, new to the forum. Looking to get into a sidewinder and want to go out west for the first time. Looking for suggestions on model and year. They have left over 17's but I wasn't sure if any new updates made the 18's worth the extra money? I'm leaning towards a btx 153 With a 2.25 track or possibly a skidoo 146 freeride. But id like to hear what you guys have or wish you did. Ill be doing a few a miles in the upper peninsula of Michigan and two trips out west to Wyoming. Any input is appreciated. Thanks!
