what is your riding style? If you ride standing up alot then go with the nytro. If you like to go real fast across lakes, then get the rx1.

07 was not the rider forward fx nytro.
my choice out of the 4 would be the 04 warrior or the 05 rx1. look the sleds over very well before you hand that cash over. check the suspension good
if you have a little extra cash i would try to find an apex model over a rx1

Of the four sleds you mentioned, all have low miles so I wouldn't worry about the engine too much other than to make sure it is stock. Check over the sleds to makes sure they have been well maintained and ask for the service records.
Of the four, I would probably go with the longer track Warrior. But, I think you would really like a longer track 06 Attak that you should be able to find used for around $5000. The 06 has EFI so no choke and it is a more rider forward sled, i.e. seating position is better but not too aggressive like the older Revs. There is a decent 07 Attak for $5000 in Michigan where I am guessing you are located. Click here for link to classified.
Why the longer track? Mainly because it offers better stability at higher speeds, provides better traction because of its footprint, and bridges the bumps better when the trails get rough.

Get the '05 RX1, if the ride doesn't make you happy, put an SC-3, or SC-4 under it, and you will have a great sled, fast, and it with ride and handle, like it should.

The attack sounds good but 7000 miles? And is the rust on the rear suspension common? Should it be sandblasted and painted? I am looking for Comfort!

how do you ride? what kind of trails do you ride on? 7000 miles is nothing. its not a 2 stroke. these 4stroke motors go and go and go and.......you get the point. the older rx1s didnt have that good of suspension. 05 had the mono in it. i still think you would be happier with apex/attak chassis.

I don't mind repeating good advice so here I go: odometer readings aren't too much of a concern for a 4-stroke. If the routine, season to season maintenance and checks have has been done, no problem. Basically, the same stuff as any sled + the oil change.
As for the suspension rust, we have alot of salt exposure (sea ice and tides) and get a little rust each season. The bro takes a wire wheel or sandblaster to it, very gently, and repaints each spring. IMO the yamaha's don't rust as much as the arctic cat we had a few years back.
As you know, excessive rust may be a sign of neglect.
As for comfort, the nytro seat is not very comfy. Good luck with your choice

05 rx stay away from the 04's. The 05 has the mono shock with no grease zerts so oul probably have to replace the front W arm at some point about $200 if you do it yourself. I would reccomend a 13 mm sway bar $90 from Pioneer performance and other skis or shim the rubbers and put pergstrom double runners on it.
The 05 has the best motor of all even though it is still carbed mine outperform apex's. The ride is much more comfortable because it is a sit down machine, wind protection is maximum and the hand warmers get blazing hot.
I have 2 05's and an 03. I have had and sold an 06 Apex RTX, 07 Apex GT and 07 Attack GT because I am old (hips & back) and could not get them to ride like the RX's

7000 miles on these sleds is nothing provided annual and routine maintenance has been performed. I would not let the mileage bother you.johnketch said:The attack sounds good but 7000 miles? The rust on the rear suspension looks similar to what I have seen on other models. If concerned, I would send off to have it powder coated by the guy on this site as his work is awesome.
In my opinion, the Attak is a very comfortable sled. I routinely ride 250-300 mile days on my Attak and I have never been sore in the morning. The longer track bridges the bumps creating a softer ride. And when the trail really gets whooped with moguls, the longer track sled can hammer through the bumps better than a short track.
If I were in your shoes and for an extra $500 above the price of the 05 RX-1 could instead get an 07 Attak, I would take the Attak. No doubt about.

2005 RX 1 then the Warrior is my recommendation. I own 05 Supercharged RX 1 and did own a Warrior.
Forget the other two if you are in to comfort.
You may need to put Grease Zerks on the 05 suspension if the previous owner did not upgrade it.
Check the suspension and rails on the 05 closely for cracks. Mine is fine but some had problems.
The Warrior is a bit of a beast in the twisties due to the weigh,t but rides pretty good and is on rails in the fast flat stuff.
