Just spent the afternoon putting a white knuckle vp-2 exhaust on my nytro. An easy install, didn't have to drop the susp., reused the same exhaust gasket. There was just some minor cutting to do on the factory heat shield, otherwise everything fit well.
I did notice the seat mounting tabs on top of the stock heat shield were burned through which explains why my seat sometimes popped over the gas tank cover plastic last winter. If your seat feels loose this might be something to look at.
The white knuckle saved 10lbs over the stocker. The stock seat feels like its a ton. Anyone here have any recommendations for an after market seat? Boss doesn't make one for the nytro and I don't know if an apex seat will fit.

check out mountain mod seats.Tj's also has them.
The apex seat will fit but the wiring for the tail light is different.

What is the sound like from that pipe?? I have been looking at this but havent pulled the trigger yet :4STroke:

I had one on mine.I actually still have the exhaust. It sounds like a raspy throaty sound.

Haven't started the sled yet to find out how it sounds. Been away working since I put it on so I'll probably leave it until the snow flies. Weight savings was my main goal so I don't mind how it sounds as long as its not too loud. The white knuckle website has some audio downloads of the exhaust in action.
