Due to the recent trend of questions about widebands, i thought i should throw a important fact out there. Please note that any brand of wideband system that uses a BOSCH sensor will NOT be compatible with leaded fuels!! It will work for awhile, then the sensor will get fouled with lead and give a inaccurate reading, or freeze up. A system(such as the FJO) that uses the NTK sensor, will be safe with leaded fuels. I have ran over 600 gallons of leaded fuel though my FJO with absolutley no issues. So remember that you initial investment on the cheaper wideband will save in the short term, that buying higher octane unleaded fuels and/or replacing sensors will eventually make up the diffrence and then some.

one other question i have is all i run is a 5 inch pipe & you guys are saying that i mite not get proper readings with that short of pipe is it still worth it to me to run one.thanks :4STroke: :o|

Ive heard that but I have a Bosch on my single wire AF gauge and have never noticed any change in it. Perhaps since I have it in a wide open 3 inch pipe it keeps it clean....
