Hello guys, I was riding this weekend and having an AWESOME time. This was my first weekend for riding the phazer. Anyways I was carving around when I flipped it on its side. I wasnt strong enough to flip it over so I had to walk back to the cabin and get my dad to help me. It was on its side for about half on hour, and the engine was not running. When we flipped it back over, it ran fine but the oil light came on. When I got back, it started dripping from undernieth. Some antifreeze and motor oil. Basicly, if I get more oil and antifreeze will my motor be okay?

Check both your anti-freeze and oil levels. Return them to normal. Mop out the mess. Then keep an eye out for any leaks as you ride.

The oil warning comes on for low oil level, not low pressure. So, ... depending how much you have to add, you should be O.K. If you add more than 1 1/2 quarts, you took it down pretty low.

Also, when it tips like that, it is good to check the airbox for oil and clean it out if necessary. Also, let the engine sit, once uprighted, for 10 minutes. Then with the key off try to turn the motor over at least one full revolution by turning the clutch. This will test to see if you have oil casuing a engine lock some place. If it turns by hand your O.K. If it stops turning, then you may have to wait a while longer before testing it again.

Thanks Len. It was running for about 10 seconds on its side. Is this okay?

Alright, thank you Len. You have been a big help. Wish me luck, and happy riding
