I'm going to help out a buddy tonight with some primary clutch maintenance on his XC 700.
I have a Yamaha clutch puller. Does anybody know for sure if it will work or not on this Polaris clutch?

No it will not work. It is not long enough and different threads if I remember correctly. Been running poos for about 20 years.

What year 700? 98 XC6/7 use a special puller that was only used on those engines, that year. . Not sure what else it fast past 98. But it didn't fit the 02 700

totally differnt pullers for sure. i think most of the twin polaris take the same puller as does the sportsman atv's

Here's a chart from Royal...on the 2nd page you'll see the YAM'S, it seems like YAM are METRIC thread and POO are SAE...so defenitly not fit.
