2004 Yamaha RX-1 ER for my wife and an 05 rx-1 er limited edition for myself. most of our riding will be around the farm and at around 30-50mph. maybe 5-8 miles per day. we don't very good so theres not much leaning or anything going on in the turns. we just kinda slow the sleds down and steer with the handle bars. i was getting tired of her fouling plugs on her polaris 600 triple 2 stroke so bought these 4 strokes thinking you wouldn't have to run them as hard. both have have electric start and has reverse. will these work out ok for the way we ride?

They will work fine! The only thing you may want to consider if you have marginal snow conditions is the add-on radiator... Also, the seat position on the rx1 is LOW. Makes for a nice and stable ride, but it can also be really rough on the knees. The seat is easily swappable though.

You won't have engine trouble any more but deep snow might not be too much fun. They are better suited to groomed trails so stay on the gas!

as long as you warm them up properly, they should give you years of trouble free service.
