Rode Friday on Baker with lots of sun....finally got my glasspack, jetting, and suspension figured out and the sled was absolutely rippin!!! Road with a mm700 159", a new 800 rmk 159" with pipe and reeds, and a stock KK900 162". I marked the 800 rmk every time. I stayed almost dead on with the KK900. I don't know if it riding skills or what but the RX was a lot of fun and it loved the firm spring like snow. Here is a pix of a nice line I took....on the left between the rocks. Unfortunately my buddy didn't get a pix when I was going over the top with the sled straight up in the air.....I love it when the skis don't touch!!!

I'd just LOVE to hear a sound clip of your Hush Thrush Glass Pack. I too find the more I change on this sled the more I like it. The Cat skid really seems to help. I notice my sled rolling by itself a lot now. I have to set the parking brake if I am on any angle.

Glad to hear your sled is working well.

Great climb! No ski tracks, no escape plan! Lokks like you're rippin!

This weekend I was riding with moded airbox, 170 jets, m7 153" skid with center shock tight, rear at medium, 162" challenger (ported), single glass pack under tunnel, lite battery, lite a-arms, 05 skis, 20/42 gears, and 05' clutching with silver secondary at 80'. Also stock 8 tooth drivers. Didn't ratchet once this weekend. I just need a bit more to keep up with my buddies dialed in KK but darn that sled goes!!

Thanks. just seeing if you are climbing that well NA. good to hear. My hopes are high with my Ekholm Skid, 162 attack 20, and 6lb exhaust to save around 25lbs. also i will have 05 clutching and 7 tooh drivers.

Trxster,
Got a pic of your airbox mod? What elevation is some of this stuff at, gotta be 6K+. I'm suprised the 170 jets wouldn't be too rich. I'm trying to get as much info on this as possible so I only have to rejet once, could you give us all your carb settings/changes?

Thanks Mark

Well, I am still playing with my carbs. Back and forth between the K&N's and the airbox. The K&N's run 165's, the airbox runs 170's at about 5000-6000 feet. I am going to tune some more this weekend and let you know. The mod airbox is nice because it is free and it is quieter than the K&N's.....just cut a squar hole where the baffle goes about 3" x 8". Then you can clean up the inside a bit.
