Today i went for a boot on my 07 phazer fx and when i returned i notice that the upper right a-arm was bent. does anyone have a spare a-arm. also there is a gouge goes out of the knuckle,i believe it`s called , would anybody have a spare or know of a company besides straight from yamaha that sells them.

I'll sell you my bent arm and gouged knuckle.

Seriously though, the spindle being gouged a bit is no real concern. Put it on a straight edge and make sure its still straight. If so, just re-use it...thats what I'm doing. The upper A arm is around $230 new, so its not that expensive.

I cant seem to figure out how it happened. i dont remember hitting anything and nobody ran into me. My knuckle is gouged as well as bent. i put a straight edge on it and its bent. how did you bend your arm. do you know how much it is for a new knuckle

I hit a rock and flipped it end over... It was a bad smack. The spindle is over $300, roughly the same price as the lower control arm.

I bent both of my lower a-arms and one of my spindles after hitting a railroad track. I had a local metal shop straighten them and do a little welding on the a-arms where the welds looked cracked. They are perfectly straight and it only cost me 50 dollars.

Ruckus,

did you only replace your upper a-arm how much did they charge you. Last night i checked out the lower a-arm and it is bent too :o| :o|

Total cost for upper A arm, lower A arm, spindle and tire rod sleeve was $900 retail.

ocording to extange rate it only $242 there?

It doesn't work that way. Sure, the exchange on a US part may be $242 but factor in duty, taxes and shipping and that'll bring it up to the Canadian Retail Prices. Our prices are usually 20-30% higher for everything.
