Had a few issues that were easy fixes. Bogging after hitting drifts hard- black cover on air filter housing was not hooked into place on front end. Headlights were horrible- screw was missing on non adjustment side, made quite a difference but did order 5:5 hid from roctoys so will see how good that works. Roc recommended a gauntlet that is like a canvas but he couldn’t remember brand. Yamaheater to improve handwarmers sound like it helps but I am wondering how they actually work. Being an electronics tech, there typically is no magic to making a coil wire in essence produce more heat except by drawing more power. Apparently the phazer is lacking in stator power production so where does it come from? If it were ac power then you can get into 3 phase which is more efficient. I am assuming it’s all dc

This issue isn't a lack of power with the OEM or that Rock magically adds power to his kit. The issue at hand is that Yamaha based the power output based on RPMs. That means if your hands are cold and you want to warm them up quickly, you simply cannot just turn the handwarmer on high. If you are cruising (ie. lower RPMs), the wamers will not get hot until you start increasing your RPMs. With Rock's kit, he does away with the RPM dependency so if you want hot hands, just turn onto high at IDLE and watch them get too hot to touch! If you have the Boost option, then setting the handwarmer to lowest setting is like putting them into NUKE mode and get hot fast. I like to do this after stopping for a break and the bars are cold. Turn to lowest setting and let warmers get hot and then set to adjust to comfort.

Got the rocktoys hid and am impressed. New problem yesterday with code 84 and 15, which sounds like tors malfunction. Boy it really messes with motor when that kicks in. Anyone have suggestions for troubleshooting other than generic info out there? Thanks

check your throttle cable adjustment 1st. too tight trips it. it needs some slack to let it bottom the switch in the throttle block before it starts to pull down at the carbs/throttle bodies. i have one that is set really close and is sensetive to snow on the throttle block.
