WIRING & REASSEMBLY 118. Reinstall the lower RH side pod using all OEM hardware. 119. Cut the large RH upper side pod so that it clears the supercharger’s oil cooler as shown in Figure 69. 120. Route ECM #2s wiring to the RH side of the sled. Connect the Pig Tails you spliced into the MAP Sensors earlier to ECM #2. See Figure 70.

121. ECM #2’s blue silicone pressure hose is shorter than the hose on ECM #1. ECM #2’s hose will NOT connect to anything, it is a barometric pressure sensor. Route the hose down near the engine. The hose end should point down so that is does not collect water. It should also not be allowed to freeze the end shut! When securing the hose, be SURE to not pinch the hose with Zip Ties or other objects! 122. Connect the Red power wire from ECM #2 to the 2 wire black OEM connector under the Black rubber shield on the RH side of the sled. Separate the OEM Black 2 wire connectors and plug in the white connectors from ECM #2. See Figure 70. 123. Remove the 6mm bolt from the RH side of the sled as shown in Figure 70. Reinstall the bolt with ECM #2’s ground under the bolt head. 124. Tuck all the connectors back into the OEM Black rubber shield. See Figure 71. 125. Route ECM #1s wiring to the LH side of the sled. Connect the Pig Tail with the single white wire that you tapped into the TPS earlier to ECM #1. See Figure 72. Re-verify ECM #1’s ground is under the nut holding the OEM voltage regulator. 126. ECM #1’s blue silicone pressure hose is longer than the hose on ECM #2. ECM #1’s hose connects to the Tee which is connected to the small brass nipple on the bottom RH side of the Air Box. The Tee also connects to the OEM pressure regulator. Secure all the NON silicone lines with zip ties (it is not necessary to zip tie the silicone hose). When securing the hose, be SURE to not pinch the hose with Zip Ties or other objects! See Figure 73. 127. Remove the Phillips Screws holding the 2 halves of the OEM Air Box together. Discard all the inside contents. Mark and cut the bottom half of the air box as shown in Figures 74 & 75. 128. Reinstall the small lower half that you just cut to the upper half using 4 short OEM screws. Remove MAP sensor bracket from the back of the top half and make sure you also removed and repositioned the OEM air temp sensor. See Figure 76. 129. Drill 1 5/16” hole on the bottom rear corner of each side of the OEM Air Box / Cover. the cover to the snowmobile with 2 OEM reusable Zip Ties through the 2 holes you just drilled and around the Black OEM top tubing just behind where the side aluminum bulkheads attach to the Black upper tubes. The front of the cover attaches to the nose of the sled just as it did stock. See Figure 77.

So This was in the MPI supplied manual, but I can't figure out what this ECM means, is or where it should be connected. The sled is a Phazer -07 w/ a PCIIIUSB on it at the moment. Also where how should I connect the wire connecting the TPS to the Phazer EFI controller?

PS. The kit was bought used so I'm beginning to suspect s few missing minor parts...

ECM usually is the engine control module...
