Yamadog it wouldnt happen to been Ron MacDougall? he has one that he kinda used as a selling tool for his tube chassis business powerhouse customs. they are located in canada and builds some of the sickest tube chassis sleds with Polaris Pro based geometry and turbo apex motors. check them out on the interwebs sometime! http://powerhousecustoms.ca/who-are-we/ this link has the turbo honda with a custom tube frame that I think you were talking about.
Sorry I missed your post the other day, but no this guy lived in Houghton, MI by the bridge in da yooper but it was wild. I wanted to go home and build one. you talk about back shift when you left off the throttle!! I am not sure how the drive was applied on it but if you did not pull the clutch handle when you left off it wanted to throw you over the bars. I guess it was like riding a dirt bile with the track and ski kit on it.
