Good weekend for Yammies at Winnipeg Beach radar runs & races. A turbo from Winnipeg yamaha did 133 on the gun & was the fastest thing there. I dod not participate but wouldn,t have won anyway. My RX-1 won1000 mod at the races with issues. It was falling on its face & only hitting 9k rpm but good enuff to win. Lean jetting or plumbing leak? One Attak was running hard; beat down a lot of F-7,s. Some great running SRX,s. Saw an unfikken ubelievable 1997 single piped SX 700 put a hurting on a lot of F-7,s. No way no how would I have believed it unless I saw it myself. Never seen one go like this one did & it did have the stock single pipe under the hood!
 
Turk i was there, I raced a few races but got kicked out set up wasnt working, sucked the belt into the secondary, We were running the lowered apex GT and SRX's (3 01's) we won 700 improved and i think mod. That turbo was playing with them but it got sick on the way back from it's second run it looked like he was only holding it enough to get by TTS (Transcona trailer sale's Modded tcat) I blew a chain racing on the side there. We also ran that turbo RX-1 it had 400hp and did 133 mph. Yea that red SX layed a licken on my 01 i couldnt belive it. I heard it had a 835 in it.
 
Lotsa sleds out there made me shake my head. Saw some stuff that should not have been fast that was stupid! Sux that my sled had gremlins on race day. Your right;we were just playing with TMS just enuff for the win. It got worse in King of snow so we quit rather then risk blowing up the sled. That X-pert x skid is the absolute best skid for racing on snow. Just hooks like a mutha & skiis stay nice & low! I saw your fleet of SRX,s. You shoulda came up & said something!
 
I wanted to know what was in the black F7 with had a little guy running it That thing was FAST... Did you see that PSI sled? That thing was amazing.
 
Black F-7 was Rob Holland from Swan River. He got DQ'ed at Hudson bay for flunking tech. PSI sled used to belong to Jim Duncan from Russell. His son & himself died in a car crash coming home from races last year. That sled is a minimum 1100cc & those guys were racing it in 800 class. Tech was non-existant. I personally think 1/3 of sleds would not have passed a good quality tech inspection. I saw a lot of guys racing there that will not go where ever there is a good tech!
 
yea i noticed that tooo but o well. There were sooo lost and confused there Racing didnt start untill 1:30!!!! I really didnt think we would finish in time? Did you race any other sleds?
 
Nope; just waited around for 4 hours to run mine. Shoulda brought more sleds. Didn,t know what a giant cluster f#$%! those races were gonna be.
 
Hey Turk, I'm curious to know why your sled isn't getting over 9k, just got my header back from Dave and put it in, now mine is behaving similar to yours, won't go over 98k right now and boost is at 8 where it should be at 10 and top mph is just over 100mph or so.

So it doesn't sound like things were very fair at Wpg beech races hey guys?

Mine was running awesome here & fell on its face out there all of a sudden. Gotta be lean jetting(130 mains 14 pounds boost) or I have a leak somewhere. 1st time ever. still won but it is hard to win at 1/2 throttle! It will get figured out soon.
Looks like a loose clamp on the intercooler! ARGGGGGGG!
