One thing I really feel good about is eps on the new chassis, maybe that means cat already has plans on paper to add a big rip roaring turbo 4 stroke and delete the pro-cross.
When you say you've had "Ice" tracks before, does that mean you've run the Ice Arrowhead 130?
There is a considerable difference between the new Ice Arrowhead and previous prestudded Camso tracks.
Like twice as many studs and the angled lugs just to name two.
I get the effectiveness of push through studs, but for 137" track there's 320studs with of 80 scratch lines, I would venture to say it might be pretty darn close to 144 push through studs.
I went with the hurricane 225.
I didn't want to mess with clutching but just wanted a little extra.
When running with my dooski 850 friends I get better fuel economy and I can easily dust them any time I want.
Over 8,100mi, 6,000 with the tune, and it runs like a top.
I would normally go by what's left of chain adjustment too, but at 13,000 km there is easily 60% of adjusting bolt left, and judging by the little back and forth rocking I get from the secondary the chain doesn't need much adjustment at all.
After talking here trying to save on a chain at this...
I guess the safe thing is to change it, especially seeing that the new track is more aggressive and I'll be straining the drive train even more.
just needed to talk this out, looks like a chain is $160ish.
