I here ya. In Toronto is was around 22c (75F) last night, Halloween. Nuts! Winter is coming. Here's end of November '23 in Muskoka. Looked like a great start. Then rain by Feb 15th '24. I shut it down. Hope it's better this year. Alex.

No worries fatchance. Did not mean to offend. Likewise. That's the whole point of these forums. To inform & learn from those who have more experience/knowledge than others. If we get snow this year.... yes please!...I'll let everyone one if my issue is solved.

Yes. It was seated properly. Everything was seated, tight, aligned, etc. I've done numerous AC skids. Not my first rodeo. Perhaps an idea. Appreciate the thought. Alex.

Here are photos. You can see roughly 1/4" space between the upper torsion nut & plastic part of the wheel. Wheels are pressed right to the shaft collar with the plastic spacer in place. All the bolts for the BOP drop ear bracket & tunnel saver are well outbound of the wheel & behind the...

Well.....took the skid apart & reassembled & put on new torsion springs & upper wheels on. There was nothing untoward going on there. No cracks or broken suspension, bolts are of proper length & location. Perhaps I didn't press the wheels in enough to the shoulder of the shaft previously on...

Getting rid of the roll over valve

Tweaked it a bit. Just zip tied it to the heat shielded wiring loom. Seems pretty sturdy there. Also added a thin DEI heat tape around as I had it anyway. Hangs below about 2". Side panel closes now. Alex.

Getting rid of the roll over valve

Well I found a problem. Cowl won't close. 180 degree mounting spot where old ROV is causing the hose to stick out to far. Have to tuck it in further. Arrrgg!

Getting rid of the roll over valve

Ok. Here's the finished product. I decided to dump it towards the cowling. It hangs down 1 3/4" at slightly more than a 45 degree cut. Small pressure relief slit just about my zip ties by the footwell. I know it's not rocket science, but does she look ok? Any negatives to how I did it? Or...

Getting rid of the roll over valve

The photo by the footwell isn't done yet. Just left the hose hanging as I wasn't sure yet where to put it. Haven't screwed the foot well bracket back yet. Upper part is pretty much done Odeg. Just wasn't sure by chaincase or hanging an 1" or 2" under footwell. Kinda leaning towards...

Getting rid of the roll over valve

Thx Sevey. Was thinking by chaincase as well. Extra heat would help keep the end open & free. Just thought to ask about different results. Is heat wrap/tape around the hose necessary? Given the heat while running & shutdown, the copper elbow would hot enough to allow fuild to flow in either...

Getting rid of the roll over valve

Good Day. Working on my cousin's '17 ZR 9000 & decided to do the ROV delete after his blew the oil tank seal. Tank has been resealed & is good. Just wanted to get your opinion on my setup, which was copied like many on here & specifically Mike K. 5/8" fuel line with copper 180 degree clamped...

Thanks Turboflash. Have read that & many other posts & videos on these sleds/chassis over the last 3yrs & it has helped me immensely. My '21 SW is still stock, meaning no tune.....I know....how's that possible! Maybe next year. But have many upgraded reliability & performance parts...

Received a PM from a very reputable member here & he informed me of the difference between Cat & Yamaha clutching in terms of drivetrain component wear (ie. top gear/driveshaft bearings). Although I've been sledding for 40+ years & tooling on them for 30+ years, these sleds are somewhat new to...
