Definitely not criticizing Alex. It's one of those situations where we all want to learn from once the problem has been identified, but in this case, it just leaves us wondering what the hell happened! It's so rare that we'll have to chalk this one as an anomaly.

Absolutely looking forward to a more snowy winter than last, that said. I remember as a child trick or treating while walking through snow on the ground here in New England. This year while walking with my grandchildren it was 78 degrees. Now I'm not going to claim it's global warming or cyclical climate change, but i would be rather entering a warming cycle than an ice age! Lol

I here ya. In Toronto is was around 22c (75F) last night, Halloween. Nuts! Winter is coming. Here's end of November '23 in Muskoka. Looked like a great start. Then rain by Feb 15th '24. I shut it down. Hope it's better this year. Alex.
