As a matter of fact I did and the best thing I ever done with a gps. It is the Zumo 595lm
I tested at -35 Celsius (with he wind factor -60) and works like a charm. The fact it is powered up with the base, it keeps it worm and can use the touch screen even in coldest temperatures. IMPORTANT:"...
Hi,
Not sure of you have the same frustration like I do when I see some panels (bottom ones especially) which are fixed with permanent rivets that must be drilled in to be able to remove the bottom panel. I have a sidewinder and Skidoo and both have the same way to fix the bottom panels.
Of...
Yes thank you. I did it last year but only the engine oil not the chain case so I didn't remove anything... just redirected to drain the oil but still a mess... now I want to take everything off and do it properly..
By the way what is the best product to clean the chain case inside once I get...
Hi,
I am preparing my sidewinder for the season. In order to change the chain case oil, do I have to take the exhaust off? Is there a video on this or some clear instructions?
Also a better and simpler way too change the engine oil which is also quite a job to get to it...
Thanks,
Looking to buy a good heavy duty snowmobile ramp… Does anyone know a type or brand that’s better than others?
I don’t want some “Walmart” type ramp.. Something good that will not bend with the first use..
I live in Quebec, Canada so it should be made in Canada to avoid high shipping and taxes...
Hi Nos-Pro can you tell me if it's difficult (long) to switch the whole rail with track at once? I am thinking what you are saying and like the idea to purchase a second kit with the 2.25 / 3po slugs. But would like to change the whole thing at once and not only the track... So you know, I...
Does anyone know if Zumo 590LM (for motorcycle) would work on a sled??
I already have one and find it quite good on my bike but never tried it in the winter on a sled. I know touch screen are not recommended but would like your opinion.
If so what would be the best mount to use? Right now it’s...
In regards with one being narrower than the other: I see BTX has adjustable ski stance from 38.5in to 42.6in. Wouldn't that solve the problem if riding on trails? Just adjust the front wider?
XTX for example has 42 - 43 in
Yes Deeppow you are right... They are narrower.. I am sure the BTX would handle very well on the trail also... Now the only question is about the track (1.75 or 2.25) and which one to choose and that would tell me the final model exactly...
I see... The only hesitation I have is that I've heard the 2.25 might heat the machine when on trail and not much snow... Although as I said the XTX LE comes with it from factory...
Now I own a Nytro XTX and want to change now for the Sidewinder... That's why I want to take the best decision...
Thank you. Exactly what I was thinking...
Now I see the XTX 141 LE comes with the 2.25 track the exact same as the BTX LE... So not sure why they would put a 2.25 track on a XTX ...?? In that case wouldn't a BTX LE handle well on the trail as well? Just trying to figure out why because that's...
Hi,
I am looking to purchase the new Yamaha Sidewinder . However not sure which one would better suit my needs between the two models I set my mind to: XTX and BTX
I do half trail and half backcountry… I like long tracks on a sled but also do lots of trail so I need a sled that’s good for...
