You know where I stand on the rear QS3r shock....way too slow stock. Like you I'm really confused on fxnytrortxkid take. I agree with getting torsion springs for rider weight.
Thanks Stain, connectors are already there at each shock so its plug and play with the module harness, (this on 24 & 25 LTX LE). Easy enough I think. This will have to wait until next season though as I have already had the shocks serviced for the upcoming season and installed.
Has anyone tried hooking up an iQS shock on a LTX LE that has the wiring in place to see if the ECM recognizes it? Next would be can the settings be switched from the controls and show up on the display?
I agree, we snatched up a low mile 24 LTX LE from a fellow TY'er a month ago for my nephew and my brother and I picked up new 25's, one in mid February and the other late March. My 18 will now be our primary back up (added EPS last off season). We are good for 10+ years now.
tw I would be very surprised if it's still there. In early March I tried to find one, called at least 30 dealers in Michigan and Wisconsin and some had similar adds on the inner web that were never removed like this one. Evan had a fellow TY'er looking on the East coast for me. We came up empty...
I had Accelerated Technologies do a revalve on the fronts and speed up the rebound on the rear shock. Revalving these shocks is not a thing just anyone can do. It's not shim stacks it's the orifice on the position (1,2,3). The best way to explain it was when I got them back and hit the snow...
Yes and then No. So early on in the years of 18, 19, 20 and 21 I struggled with the balance on my 18 LTX LE. The best setup was a Bill Mohr center spring, in my opinion it was like a teeter toter. When you mashed the gas out of a corner the skis would be off the ground just enough you didn't...
I currently have the cluster flash tune from Hurricane on my 18. Started out with the stand alone 240 SS SM tune then added closed loop and felt I need to see AFR's so I upgraded to the bundle flash of tunes. Mostly run just the 240, never ran the 225 ever and only ran 270 a couple of times just...
The arrowhead track performed great, it looks as good as the day I put in on. Had a chance today to look it over really good, zero damage to the lugs and all studs intact. Now I did ride in great snow conditions all season...nothing marginal this year. As far as noise and or vibrations, in good...
So, any year bumper for a sidewinder LTX is the same, gotta be careful with the Viper bumpers as most will work but I know 14,15 and 16 MY bumpers will be longer as they used a 141 tunnel on those MY.
