    SRX in Copper Harbor

I thought the same thing, but there are no ski tracks in front of the skis which match up. So "whatever"... now the pic posted just above this is compelling!

Look at the ski/track marks. Does not match at all. I was just at that location last week also and it did not look like that. I could post pic...

    Full Season Original Belt

6,000 miles on first (factory) belt. Decided to change belt proactively. 1,500 miles so far on second belt. 7,500 miles on 2017 LTX-LE. No blown belts... I ride conservatively, but a lot of miles.

I surrender, Have a couple winder questions?

Roughly 130 miles per tank. Also, the LTX-LE QS3 shocks are easy enough to change trailside quickly. That is unless the knobs are iced up... I personally am not enticed by electronic versions.

    Quebec soon, mirror solutions?

I took an old old old snowmobile mirror which had a 4 inch straight section and hacksawed off the threaded part which attached to an old old old snowmobile. I zip tied this remaining stalk with mirror to the end of the left handlebar with four zip ties. This was just two weeks ago. Our group...

    Riding impressions of "power steering."

I'd have to agree with you. If you put the effort into getting physical on the sled by getting off the seat and crouching low in the twisties, this sled can hang with just about anything. It's got plenty of nards if you roll into the throttle at the corner apex to kick the rear around and...

    Clutch rattle.... DRIVING ME NUTS

A friend has a zr9000. I fired it up today and couldn't believe how nice this 998 turbo engine sounds without that rattling clutch! Someone mentioned lifter noise and other valve train clatter... there is NONE of that when you are listening to this motor with a rattle-less clutch. Almost...

First Belt Blown at 1800 Miles.

I roll into the throttle more than stab it. I also don't whack the flipper after hard braking. I broke in the belt by pinning the throttle in the first 2 miles of the sled being new and to seat the rings as well. Seems to have not hurt anything for longevity. The track is also not...

First Belt Blown at 1800 Miles.

Let's just consider some ride differently in their 50s than when they were in their 20s and 30s. You just might live long enough to see! I hope you do...

    Sticker residue on Windshield

My Ontario, Canada pass destroyed my window as the adhesive spread out 50% larger than the sticker itself when using chemicals to remove the remnants. Dealer took pics to share with the state of WI so they understand what a problem some of these trail pass stickers can be.

    Tuners....we need more engine braking

Use of the engine brake seems to minimize track stoppage and sliding where entering a corner and grabbing a handful of brake sometimes results in halting track rotation resulting in a slide especially if there are bumpies.

Mechanical Power Steering for Sidewinder - BTX & XTX "bone spindle" kits now available

After nearly 1,000 miles, PERFECT!!! Others have also tried my sled and will be buyers of Travis' kit. It is Brilliant, period. It takes an already awesome sled to an even higher level. It adds the equivalent of POWER STEERING and all of its benefits.
