    Last year, I converted my Thundercat to Yamaha clutches. Many have asked, "Why would you do such a foolish thing?". My answer, "Because I want to go fast.....and I need my left foot to earn a living!!" Thanks for the videos. Very educational and transparent.

    The old 2 strokes and vipers used a button secondary, which needed more helix to open. Mounting a stock viper secondary on a sidewinder with a straight 45 will turn exact rpm as stock factory secondary with a stock 35 helix. The roller secondary requires 10 degrees less of helix for the same shift.

    XTX SE Frontend Swap

    Buddy found an 25 XTX SE for the right price, but hates the narrow frontend. Wants to put the frontend like a LTX. Im assuming he needs 4 a-arms, 2 spindles, and 2 shocks, but he is hoping I'm wrong. Has anyone converted an XTX to a wider stance that can attest to what is needed?

    I would go with LTX LE/ZR9000RR, especially if you weigh over 220 pounds. In my opinion Cat clutches yield better belt life, but Yamaha clutches yield better top speed. Yamaha clutches are more durable., especially if you add power.

    Small hose comes from valve cover and serves as a crankcase breather. When putting a CAI, I put a filter on this hose, so it can breathe, but won't make a mess

    21/38 is 1.80 ratio. 24/45 is 1.87 ratio. Did you mean 25/45? More efficient, but much more expensive and need 90 pitch chain.

    Did it cough and sputter while riding? Usually a bad pump elicits some fuel starvation issues before quitting totally. This will show up on the FPR Gage as well as the datalog.
