    Sidewinder

Yes a very nice guy and yes money seems to be a non issue for them. I think I'll get the pilots there in very good shape and I'd like to do something for them letting me drive the sled so much. I have drove a few SW and have always been impressed with the motor, how ever I have only drove them...

    Sidewinder

Hey guys, I have an opportunity the first week of April to run a 50th 137 Sidewinder at around 3000ft. The conditions will be corn snow and a little powder 6" to 18" depending on the day, location, trail, bowl. We go every year but this year a few new people are coming (we rent 2 large chalets...

    10 MPG & Blown Belt @ 1200 miles

Motorhead I sure do understand about nagging problems with a new machine and the want to ride it not fix it or spend more money on it. Too bad your season might be over (are's are hanging on here in Quebec), but I would imagine come Oct/Nov Yamaha/your dealer and of course the EXCELLENT input...

    10 MPG & Blown Belt @ 1200 miles

There seems to be a couple of issues with some of the SW from my readings,, the primary spring seems to bind and people are breaking them (this equals heat), the secondary cup is also binding at full shift out thus many are adding a 0.5 or 0.6 washer below the helix. Also the secondary rollers...

Out the door prices for ltx-le sidewinders??

Moto Folie Rive-Sud here in Quebec have RTX SE (not LE) for $14800 + tax and LTX SE (not LE) for $15,100 + tax,, Doesn't seem like any LE available unless its used and they want about $17,500 + 1 tax. Hope this helps.

Crashed SW all most ready to blast, but i am not!! BURRR

Hi Pete, I'm new to this forum (joined based on my interest of purchasing a SW) but familiar with accidents and unfortunately death. I just wanted to say may God be with you and give you the strength to get through these events. I wish you all the best, I see you have quite a few of friends on...

    Help Overheat issues!!

Not sure if you guys have tried Redline Waterwetter in your coolant but it does make a difference in cooling. On my Digatron it reduced my operating temp by 15c cooler with no other changes. You still need snow to cool the motor but it does make a difference for less then $20 bucks. Sorry...

    Help Overheat issues!!

Sleds need snow, this year has been pretty poor overall. Trails are mint but no real snow is just hard marble ice, machines go fast but cooling can't keep up. I'm in Quebec and I have never seen a winter take down so many machines ( all brands) EVER. We all want to get out there and use them...

    DX or SE L-TX model

Thanks for the response but I'm still at a loss over the differences between packages and which way I should go. Ya the aviator is my wife quite a few years ago on our honeymoon. She's a keeper

    DX or SE L-TX model

The Sidewinder has caught my eye and seeing how my birthday is coming quickly, figured it would be an appropriate gift. This is my first post on TY and will be my first Yamaha Sled, that said I'm not sure what suspension package I should purchase with the 137". I weight about a 170lbs, I...
